Dr Bela Sethi (PT), director of PTC is a practicing Physiotherapy Clinician with more than 40 years of experience. Her expertise includes, but is not limited to, the management of Paediatric, Adult and Geriatric patients with Orthopaedic and Neurological Disorders. Over the years her clientele has included heads of multi-national businesses, ambassadors, consul generals, cabinet ministers, senior government officials, members of the Indian judiciary, national and state level athletes, and senior members of the armed forces. She has served as Honorary Physiotherapist to two former Presidents of the Republic of India.
She is actively involved in the enhancement of the ethical practice and standards of education in the field of physiotherapy and influencing policy in areas related to the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. At a personal level she continues to be involved in an effort geared towards the establishment of an All India Physiotherapy Council under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. She is a member of the executive committee of the Delhi Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, an autonomous body under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Delhi.
