His mentor was Dr. Nanette Silverberg, who is a world-renowned name in the field of Paediatric Dermatology. He did observer-ship in contact Dermatitis/In-patient and complex Dermatology from Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, United States. Learned the art of patch testing in eczema/contact dermatitis from Dr. William D James and Dr. Bruce Brod in Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, United States. He has Psoriasis Expert Certification from International Psoriasis Council. The areas of his interest are Clinical Dermatology, Psoriasis, contact Dermatitis, Paediatric Dermatology, Sexually transmitted diseases and In-patient/Complex Dermatology. He has done a diploma course for Sensitive Skin and is certified as Sensitive Skin Expert by World Health Academy. He has various national and international publications in journals/books on topics ranging from Pigmentary Disorders, STDs, Herpes, Chemical Peels, Melasma, Vitiligo, Donovanosis, Camouflage Therapy in Vitiligo and Melasma, Lichen Planus Pigmentosus, Leprosy, Hemangiomas of Infancy and Cutaneous Fungal Infections.
