Dr. Monish Nakra pursued his graduation and post-graduation from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. He went on to complete specialisation in the field of Anaesthesiology. He obtained an additional qualification in Critical Care Medicine from ISCCM. His special interest lies in ARDS and it’s Ventilatory Management, Haemodynamic Monitoring and Invasive Vascular Procedures, and Sepsis and Antibiotic Stewardship. Dr. Nakra served in premier Armed Forces’ Hospitals for 28 years & has been instrumental in starting off the DNB program in Critical Care Medicine in Army Hospital (R&R). As a post-graduate teacher and examiner, Dr Monish has been a mentor to several post-graduate students. He is also an instructor of BLS, ACLS, ATLS and FCCS. He is a renowned speaker and has presented at various National Critical Care Conferences. He has a number of research publications in National and International Journals and has contributed to chapters in books.
