Brig (Prof) KS Brar is a Senior Consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetology at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurgaon. He has been trained at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he gained rich experience in managing all kinds of Adult and Paediatric Endocrine Disorders. He has rich clinical experience of 30 years in the Army and 21 years in managing Endocrine and Diabetes patients. Dr KS Brar is an excellent teacher, gifted Researcher, gifted orator and prolific writer. He has published more than 55 articles in national and international peer-reviewed medical journals. He has written many chapters and is Co-editor of Four textbooks for PG students. Dr KS Brar is a recognised Teacher, Guide and Examiner for Endocrinology, by the National Board of Examinations, India.
For his distinguished service and contribution in the field of Endocrinology and Diabetology, Dr KS Brar was awarded the Prestigious Vishisht Sewa Medal (VSM) by the President of India, Hon’ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee on 26 Jan 2014 and once again By the President of India, Hon’ble Shri Ram Nath Kovind on 26 Jan 2022 besides various other awards. He has a special interest in treating Diabetes Mellitus, Thyroid Disorders, Neuroendocrinology, and Metabolic Bone Diseases including Osteoporosis and Adrenal disorders.
