Air Force veteran with 20+ years of surgical experience in Armed Forces Medical Services followed by another 20+ years of practice in some of the best healthcare institutes in Delhi NCR.
Did his graduation and post graduation from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. He completed his super speciality training in Gastro intestinal Surgery and Liver Transplantation from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi.
He later was a Professor of Surgery at the AFMC Pune and trained a generation of graduates and post graduate surgeons who now occupy positions of eminence in their own right.
He is a member of many prestigious organisations like the Association of Surgeons of India, the American College of Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, International College of Surgeons and the Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology where he was honoured with the Presidency of the IASG.
