He is extensively trained in the field of Rhinology and anterior skull base surgery, which are his primary & secondary interests respectively. He has trained in multiple reputed centres abroad and his fellowship is recognised by the Royal college of Surgeons of England. He also has a fellowship in the same field from St. Paul's hospital, Canada which is approved by the University of British Columbia. Dr. Gaurav has published many papers and has recently contributed to the International consensus statement in Rhinology, becoming the first Indian to ever contribute to the International guidelines document.
