Dr.Wahida Suresh is the Lead Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynecology at BirthRight by Rainbow Hospitals, Chennai.
She graduated with MBBS from the Madras Medical College in 1990, completed her DNB in 2000 and subsequently trained in Laparoscopy, Ultrasound, Fertility and Reproductive Health. Prior to Rainbow, she had a distinguished stint of close to 25 years with Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
Besides the full spectrum of Obstetrics & Gynaecology services, she will provide Fertility Management services where she has had a striking rate of success with an ethical, empathetic approach. Her key focus at BirthRight will be to build a holistic “Women’s Wellness” practice integrating lifestyle management, nutrition, fitness, psychological support, etc., bringing together an energetic team of specialists.
Dr. Wahida Suresh is fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, and has a working knowledge of Telugu and Bengali. She will have an active role in training/mentoring frontline staff and developing an outreach programme to work with other institutions to address the health needs of disadvantaged women.
