Dr. Hyacinth Penninah Paljor is Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore University, Karnataka (1987). She completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from Mysore Medical College, Mysore University, Karnataka in 1983 and started her career as an intern at Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, going on to serve as Junior Resident at the hospital. She then went on to work as Resident - Dept of Medicine, Bangalore Medical college, Bangalore, INDIA (October 1983 – September 1986). Earlier in her career, she was posted as Medical Oficer, GB Pant Cantonment General Hospital, Srinagar (Jan 1988 - July 1988), Medical Officer, Burnhall School Health Room, Srinagar Kashmir. (August 1988 - July 1989), Medical Officer, GB Pant Cantonment General Hospital, Srinagar. (July 1989 - March 1991).
