Dr.(Mrs) Ramesh Sarin is a Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.

• She specializes in breast cancer and breast diseases. Her association with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital dates back to 1996 and she has dedicated her services to help patients with Breast Diseases.
• Dr Sarin provides latest surgical treatment for breast cancer. With her immense capability and skill, Dr Sarin has started the first ever Breast Cancer Clinic at AIIMS.

Experience

• Worked in UK for 6 yrs, where I obtained FRCS degree.
• Assistant Prof. of surgery at AIIMS from Jan.1975 to Dec.1982.
• Associate Prof. of surgery at AIMMS from Jan 1983 till 1986.
• Fellow ship in surgical Onclogy at Memorial Sloane Kettering cancer centre Newyork in 1979 to 1980
• Head surgical oncology at Mafrao Hospital on Ministry of health, Abu Dhabi UAE ( helped in starting a cancer centre in UAE)
• Founder member and initiated and atarted Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) the only platform in India for Oncology Meetings.

• Passionate about breast cancer awareness for doctors and public at large.
• Chairperson of an NGO called “Forum for Breast Protection”.
• Produced a short educational film on breast self examination and breast cancer awareness.
