After completing his MD from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, in 1969, he became Diplomate of The American Board of Internal Medicine in 1974 and gained Fellowship in Hematology from The Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, New York, USA, in 1975.
After that, he became a Diplomate of The American Board of Hematology in 1976 and did the Diploma of The Thai Board of Medical Oncology in 1997.
