About Doctor

Dr Anil Mishra is one of the most senior Cardiologist of Eastern who is known to do some of the firsts in new Cardiac procedures. He graduated from Calcutta National Medical College and received his post-graduate training in the United Kingdom. After achieving Membership of the Royal College of Physicians he trained in Cardiology at some of the leading cardiac centres of Europe – The Cardiothoracic Institute at National Heart Hospital, Brompton Hospital and London Chest Hospital in London.

He has wide experience in Cardiology and has performed more than 20,000 Coronary Angiographies (including radial route); more than 8000 Coronary Angioplasties and stenting, more than 3000 pacemaker surgery and other cardiac device implantations. He has a special interest in complex angioplasties, Pacemakers, CRT-D, AICD, and TAVI.

He is the first person in Eastern India to

  • Perform Rotablation
  • Implant ICD and CRT-P
  • Repair Aortic Aneurysm with Aortic Stent graft   
  • To be certified to implant Leadless Pacemaker

He is an excellent orator and has been invited to more than 400 Regional, National and International conferences/Seminars/Workshops/Courses/Continuing Medical Education programmes, as Speaker, Panelist, Moderator, course co-ordinator or Chairperson. He has performed Live case of  Rotablation at SCICON, complex angioplasty Live at International Complex Intervention Therapeutic and complex angioplasty of LMS bifurcation, Live at TCT, Taiwan in 2019.
