Dr. Sheikh Golam Mahbub graduated from Shaheed Mansur Ali Medical College; after graduation he started his career as medical officer in casualty department of Dhaka Medical College. He took postgraduate training in general surgery & casualty management, orthopaedics and trauma surgery in DMCH & SSMCH. Along with he obtained Diploma in Orthopaedics and trauma surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. After post-graduation he was trained in adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgeries (hip and knee arthroplasty) Arthroscopy, sports medicine & injury and orthopaedics trauma & rehabilitation in BSMMU and National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) under direct supervision of renowned professors of Bangladesh & India.
Dr. Mahbub is A.O fellow in AO Basics, Life member of Bangladesh Spine Society and Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society (BOS). He has attended different national and international conferences seminars and workshops of orthopaedics, spine and trauma surgery. Now he is serving patients as an orthopaedics & trauma specialist in Square Hospital Ltd.
