Dr. Mohammad Azharul Islam obtained MBBS from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, Barisal. He completed post graduation, Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (DTCD) from National Institute of Diseases of Chest & Hospital (NIDCH) in 2015.
He received post graduation training from renowned medical college and institute, like Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital, National Institute of Diseases of Chest & Hospital (NIDCH).
He is experienced in treating COVID and Post COVID patient, Patient with Pneumonia, Bronchial Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis, Tuberculosis, Pleural effusion, Obstructive sleep apnea and other chest diseases. He is also experienced in doing respiratory procedures like Bronchoscopy, Pleuroscopy, Pleural biopsy, Pleural fluid aspiration, Pleurodesis and treating patients of Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Respiratory failure with BIPAP or CPAP machine.
He is a member of World Association for Bronchology & Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP). Dr. Azharul participated in national and international workshops, seminars and conferences. His original article is granted for publication in International journal.
Now he is working at Square Hospital as Junior Consultant, Department of Respiratory & Sleep Medicine.
