She has completed her Medicine and Post-graduation Fellowship degree in Diabetology from Madras Diabetic Research Foundation (MDRF), Chennai. She pursued her Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Endocrinology and Diabetology from Royal College of Physicians(U.K)
She has a vast experience in treating patients with diabetes and its related complications. Her core interest in treating Pregnancy-related diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Obesity-related disorders in women (Polycystic ovarian disease) and also Childhood diabetes.

- TIGHT STUDY: the investigation of glycosylated Haemoglobin on the therapy in Indian diabetic patients.

SOCIO Medical Contributions
- As a responsible Diabetologist, I am involved in conducting regular camps to detect the ‘Pre diabetes’ population and the ‘Newly Diagnosed young diabetes’ to diagnose them at the earliest and prevent occurrences of complication respectively.
- I have given Diabetes Awareness interviews on World Diabetes Day on media channels (Raj TV, Satyam TV, Vendhar- HELLO DOCTOR&Pudhiyathalamurai TV) and other social media like you tube and facebook .
- Conducted CME on PCOD and GDM on women's day and International Diabetes day respectively.
- Delivered talks on “Lifestyle disorders” for staffs of corporate companies.
