Dr. Alok Rath is the General Surgeon with a Government of India recognised FNB degree in Minimal Access and Bariatric Surgery, his expertise include all basic laparoscopic surgeries and advanced surgeries such as Endoscopic hernia surgeries, Heller’s cardiomyotomy with Dor’s hemifundoplcation, Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, Laparoscopic CBD exploration, Reduced port Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Single Incision Laparoscopic cholecystectomy using traditional instrumentation, Gynaecological surgeries, Ovarian cystectomy Salpingectomy Adhesiolysis (Endometriosis), Lap Associated Vaginal Hysterectomy, Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, and other all General Surgical Procedures.
He is a Senior Consultant in General Surgery and an expert in Minimal Access and Bariatric surgery at the CARE Super Specialty Hospital & Transplant Centre in Banjara Hills, India, as well as the CARE Super Specialty OPD Centre. With more than 15 years of experience in the medical field of General, Minimal Access and Bariatric/Laparoscopic, and Surgical Gastroenterology, Dr. Alok Rath has treated thousands of people around the world.
Dr. Alok Rath completed his MBBS from the VSS Medical College in Burla, Odisha in the year 2000, and later pursued MS in the medical field of General Surgery from the VSS Medical College, Burla in Odisha in the year 2008. He also did FNB in the Minimal Access and Bariatric at Sir Ganga Ram hospital in New Delhi in the year 2013.
