Dr. Akshat is a trained Neurosurgeon with special areas of interest in Functional Neurosurgery, and Function preserving Brain-Tumor Surgery. He has been associated with KDAH Neurosciences Department for over half a decade since the completion of his Post-Doctorate. He has done his fellowships in Stereotactic & Functional Neurosurgery from The Ohio State University and Advanced Brain Mapping & Awake Surgery from Hospital Virtual Valdecilla in Spain. He endeavors to provide the best care and treatments to his patients staying abreast the latest neurosurgical advances. When not working or studying he finds respite in gardening and curating his art collection.
