EXPERIENCE

After graduating from T.N Medical College, Mumbai, Dr Kaimal spent the next fifteen years in UK acquiring additional qualifications and experience. She completed her MRCP in Medicine and her specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes, which included experience in reputed Tertiary care centres. She worked as a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes in UK and was the clinical lead of the Endocrinology department at Mid Essex Hospital. She was the lead Endocrinologist in Essex region for the thyroid cancer multidisciplinary team and the lead for endocrine management of patients undergoing adrenal surgery. She has extensive experience in advanced diabetes management such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, London in 2018.
