Dr. Akanksha Parikh has accomplished her MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College and Nair Hospital and her MD. Pediatrics from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. She has also worked in B.J Wadia Hospital as a senior registrar. She has undergone training in pediatric and adolescent endocrinology from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore. She worked as a junior consultant at the same institute prior to joining KokilabenDhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Dr Parikh has dealt with over 200 children with juvenile diabetes as a part of the international CDiC (Changing Diabetes in Children) program. She is well-versed in the management of growth and hormonal disorders of neonates, children and adolescents.
Dr Akanksha Parikh runs the Pediatric Endocrinology department at the Kokilaben Hospital. She liases with multiple specialities including Pediatrics, Pediatric Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, ENT etc for the holistic care of children with hormonal issues.
