Owing to her love for kids, Pediatrics was a natural choice, and she pursued her MD (Pediatrics) from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai. A fascination for endocrinology & diabetes kindled during her postgraduate days led her to pursue a 2 year (Fellowship in Pediatric & Adolescent Endocrinology & Diabetes) from prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, India, where she encountered a variety of cases owing to vast number of patients frequenting this premier institute. During her fellowship, Dr. Swati attended various National and International Fellow schools & workshops.
To enhance her knowledge in her favored topic of Diabetes, she did an online 2Year Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes, from Cardiff, UK, which she cleared with Distinction.
