A reputed surgical oncologist, Dr Ramani completed his training at the well-known Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, Chennai. He has over a decade of 25 years experience in surgical oncology and has imbibed the principles of empathy in driving cancer care. Dr Ramani has notable academic teaching experience from various institutes. The doctor staunchly believes in the concept of “treatment for all”, emphasising the ethos of “Reverse Cancer ‘n’ Aim for Cure”. His humane approach helps him care for patients beyond cure and ensure living beyond survival. He steers the team of surgical oncologists in creating state-of-the-art oncology expertise within MGM Healthcare. He has a special interest in gynaecological cancers with expertise in Minimally Invasive (Laparoscopic) Surgery for uterine cancers and HIPEC (Hot chemotherapy) for Ovarian cancers and Peritoneal Surface malignancies. Dr Ramani is a go-getter and has achieved various medals and acclamations for his service in the field. He has actively participated in many International and National workshops and conferences.
