He was British Heart Foundation Research Fellow at University of Birmingham and obtained a PhD following research on diabetic cardiomyopathy.
Field Expertise
All adjunctive Coronary Interventional techniques including rotational atherectomy, LASER and distal protection device use, primary, rescue angioplasty and other complex angioplasty techniques including unprotected left main stem, chronic total occlusion, vein graft and multi-vessel intervention, pacemaker and ICD insertions, peripheral interventions including femoral, iliac, below knee angioplasty and fistuloplasties.
Qualification
Graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 2000. He undertook internal medicine training in UK and obtained MRCP in 2004.
He obtained his cardiology training in the All Wales Cardiology Training Program and secured CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in cardiology.
He completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowships (Cardiff and Swansea, UK)
