- Developed the Dept. of Nephrology at IPGME&R, SSKM Hospital, Kolkata (1995-2002) and first HoD of Nephrology Department.
- Developed the department to its full-fledged status and started DM Nephrology program 2002.
- Started regular Kidney Transplantation in Government hospital since 1994 under his leadership and supervised more than 150 kidney transplantation (1994-2002) under his leadership
